Protecting SwiftUI Views with Authentication

In this video, we will create an AuthenticationStore using the Observation framework and use it to control access to protected tabs such as Courses and Profile. If the user is authenticated, the requested content is displayed. Otherwise, the user is presented with the login screen.

You will learn how to:

• Manage authentication state using @Observable

• Share authentication state through the SwiftUI environment

• Build a reusable generic container view

• Conditionally display content based on authentication

• Protect individual tabs without locking the entire application

This approach keeps authentication logic out of individual screens and takes advantage of SwiftUI’s built-in composition and state management features.
