Shopkick:

• Rebuilt Shopkick's content loading from scratch, optimizing screen loading by removing the need for extra API calls completely, making the screens load instantly. The new code was backed by a full unit test suite that ensured its correctness and was developed using modern Swift capabilities: async/await, Combine, Actors, SwiftUI, and idiomatic Swift.
• Built a CI/CD from scratch (using fastlane and GitHub Actions), allowing faster iterations between developers and the QA team and eliminating the need for human interaction to generate new app builds between development (QA and TestFlight) and deployment (App Store) cycles.
• Built a feature relying completely on Swift capabilities that allowed users to connect their retailer accounts (Walmart, Target, and so on) into the app in order to automate the process of receipt upload for purchases. The volume of data processed was huge, so I had to design a solution that ran smoothly in the background, sending receipts while the user could navigate the app normally. This feature had a huge impact on user retention and had almost 80% user approval.
• Maintained legacy Objective-C and UIKit code while rewriting parts of it to Swift and SwiftUI. Responsible for rewriting 60% of legacy code, achieving full unit test coverage and adopting modern Swift capabilities.
  Neomode:
• Architected a huge native mobile commerce white label from scratch using Java and Swift, and two years later I was responsible for rewriting it fully to Flutter, applying industry standards for coding like Clean Code and Clean Architecture. The app was fully configurable through a set of values received from an API and others from configuration files. The white label had a spike of 30 different clients configured in it, many of them from different types - some from clothing, some from electronics, SMB retailers - and the app handled all of these differences gracefully.
• Architected a complex process that automated the deployment to stores (App Store and Google Play) for more than 50 apps on the same day; Before the automation, the process took an entire day for two developers, and after the implementation, the process was done without human interaction, giving back to the developers a day of work. Most of it was done using fastlane and GitHub Actions.
• Responsible for managing a tech team of 20, making 1:1s, giving and receiving feedback, structured internal processes and documentation to support the team, structured hiring process, structured onboarding process for new clients.
• Responsible for organizing calls (in-site and online) with stakeholders (clients, other members of the team) to collect feedback and requests for new features and improvements. Then prioritizing what made sense and structuring it for development.
