Join Beacon Boxx, an AI-powered health and home safety platform combining wearable data, real-time monitoring, and emergency response systems to detect and predict medical events before they happen. You'll work directly with the founder and senior developers to build live features used by real users across mobile and backend systems.
• Build and refine iOS app features using Swift and SwiftUI (primary focus)
• Support development of AWS-based backend services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Help define and optimize user workflows across mobile and web
• Participate in product design, feature ideation, and architecture discussions
• Mobile: Swift, SwiftUI (primary)
• Backend: REST APIs, Node.js/Python
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito)
• Interest in mobile and/or full-stack development
• Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, backend APIs, and Node.js
• Curiosity about how systems connect end-to-end
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn quickly
• Bonus: GitHub projects, personal apps, or hackathon experience
• Must be currently in college in the USA, ideally Texas based
• Hands-on experience building a real, production-grade platform
• Exposure to full-stack architecture (mobile → API → cloud backend)
