Join Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market platform with $21B traded in 2025. Enable individuals to express views on real-world events across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. As a Staff iOS Engineer, you'll help build the iOS product as Polymarket invests seriously in mobile.
• Own the iOS product — end-to-end ownership of Polymarket's iOS experience, from technical architecture and performance to product quality and release discipline
• Set the technical direction — make and own architectural decisions for the iOS platform, ensuring codebase built to scale and maintained with rigor
• Build for real-time — design and implement experiences handling live market data, fast-moving prices, and real-time order state that feels fast and reliable
• Raise the engineering bar — lead code reviews, establish strong iOS engineering standards, help grow capability of broader mobile team
• Partner across the company — work with product, design, and backend teams to align on priorities, define APIs and data contracts, ship high-quality experiences end-to-end
• Contribute to mobile strategy — help shape how Polymarket thinks about mobile as a platform, including architecture decisions setting up team for scale
• Significant iOS engineering experience with track record of shipping and owning high-quality iOS applications in production
• Deep experience building trading, financial, or sportsbook applications — understand the product domain and technical demands
• Strong knowledge of Swift and iOS SDK, with solid instincts around performance, memory management, and real-time data handling
• Experience building apps that consume live data feeds and display fast-moving information reliably and smoothly
• High bar for product quality — care about how things feel, not just whether they work
• Comfortable operating with broad ownership in fast-moving environment
• Strong cross-functional communication skills — work well with product, design, and backend engineers
• Familiarity with WebSockets, streaming APIs, or other real-time data infrastructure
• Experience leading or mentoring iOS engineers
