Join Zillow Experience Design (ZxD) — Design Foundations team. You'll help shape the design system behind Zillow's iOS experience and the reusable components that product teams rely on every day. Build useful, accessible, and cohesive experiences across web and mobile for millions of customers.
• Build and improve reusable iOS components, patterns, and tooling that support Zillow's design system and product experiences
• Contribute to implementation and architecture of design system features, writing high-quality Swift with strong testing practices
• Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully, applying sound judgment about when to rely on generated output and when to validate it independently
• Help define and uphold iOS standards, including accessibility best practices
• Support testing strategies, code quality improvements, and regular releases to partner teams
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues for teams adopting shared system capabilities
• Create documentation and educational content helping partner teams adopt the design system more effectively
• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering partners to stay aligned on roadmap priorities
• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with strong familiarity with iOS platform conventions and Human Interface Guidelines
• Strong understanding of application performance, including concurrency, memory efficiency, and smooth scrolling
• Track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code within deadlines
• Experience with build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools effectively, with good judgment about when generated output should be reviewed, tested, or revised
• Experience building accessible iOS experiences
