Join Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology, building the future of streaming, sports, and entertainment for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, ABC News, and more. As part of the Quality Engineering team, you'll validate work before production across web, mobile, living room applications, media, services, and non-consumer-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams to implement full stack quality solutions
• Develop test automation frameworks, CI/CD infrastructures, build systems, and reporting tools for flagship streaming mobile apps (Disney+ and Hulu)
• Maintain documentation for end user consumption and project contributor documentation
• Supply end-user and developer training on automation tools and frameworks
• Investigate and resolve framework or environmental issues affecting services
• Help others increase productivity through innovation and champion Disney quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience in software development, including test automation for front-end and back-end services
• Minimum 1 year of experience in test automation and unit testing frameworks for iOS or Android apps
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and expertise in one or more: Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong collaboration skills and familiarity with SDLC tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab or GitHub)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to deliver project tasks on time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with elevated motivation and self-starting attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering production iOS/Android apps
• Experience developing applications in cloud platforms (AWS)
• Experience working with cloud-based testing infrastructures (SauceLabs)
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and CI/CD systems
• Experience writing Gherkin syntax for automated test scenarios
• Experience developing advanced mocking mechanisms (rule-based proxies, dummy-services)
• Experience with test suite/case/run management tools (JIRA Xray)
