You'll develop and maintain software components powering cutting-edge Apple TV products, creating seamless and intuitive user experiences while ensuring reliability and performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain software applications and frameworks for Apple TV, Vision, and other tvOS platforms
• Collaborate with UX designers to develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for TV applications, settings, and menus
• Integrate software components with underlying hardware and firmware to optimize TV performance and capabilities
• Develop and optimize applications including video streaming services, gaming apps, and other interactive features
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize software performance for a smooth and responsive user experience
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and reliable TV functionalities
• Implement software updates and improvements to enhance TV features and address customer feedback
• Ensure compatibility of TV software with different screen resolutions, input methods, and device configurations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in Swift and JavaScript
• Experience with Apple TV or mobile development
• Knowledge of AI and AI tooling
• Familiarity with web development platforms and cloud-based services
• Solid grasp of software development best practices (version control, code reviews, testing methodologies)
• Self-starter with ability to seek opportunities and see them through to completion
• Strong collaborator with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Prior experience with Apple tvOS development
• 40 hours per week, regular full-time
• No out-of-state travel anticipated
• Comfortable, air-conditioned work environment (open, shared space in Provo office)
