Join Utopai Studios, a small team building a cinematic AI storytelling platform that lets creators go from idea to narrative video across formats, audiences, and platforms — fast. You'll own the iOS app end-to-end, working directly with research and design teams to invent how humans collaborate with models on video.
• Own the iOS app end-to-end — capture flow, editor, agent interactions, and the moment someone turns a half-formed idea into a finished scene
• Architect the client and shape the interaction model
• Turn agent capabilities into responsive, native-feeling creative tools
• Work directly with research and design teams
• Ship features quickly, getting things in front of users this week rather than architecting for a month
• Sweat the details — frame rate, gesture feel, memory pressure, transition quality
• 5+ years of iOS experience, with at least some at senior or staff level
• Deep iOS expertise — Swift, SwiftUI and/or UIKit, understanding mental model not just API surface
• Experience shipping and maintaining apps on the App Store at real scale
• Experience architecting non-trivial iOS apps — state management, offline behavior, sync, performance on mid-tier devices
• Sharp eye for interaction detail — can tell when a gesture feels 50ms too slow and knows how to fix it
• Experience with video capture, playback, or media pipelines
• Android experience
• Web/React experience
• Engineering craft — sweat the details, have a high bar
• Ship fast — rather get something to users this week than architect for a month
• AI-native — already using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools to extend what you can build
• Know when to refactor and when to land it
