About the Team

Dayforce is a global human capital management (HCM) company with a unified cloud platform designed to improve workforce efficiency, productivity, and compliance.

You’ll be working on Dayforce Wallet, an on-demand pay and financial wellness product that allows users to access and manage their earnings in real time. The product combines mobile banking features, prepaid card services, and financial tools to improve employees’ everyday financial lives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, release, and maintain native iOS features across the full development lifecycle
  • Develop scalable, enterprise-grade mobile applications for the Dayforce Wallet platform
  • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to architecture and design decisions with a focus on scalability and maintainability
  • Evaluate risks and system impacts when introducing new features
  • Participate in sprint execution and cross-team collaboration
  • Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards
  • Mentor other developers and support team growth
  • Promote best practices in testing, quality, and maintainability
  • Leverage AI tools to improve development workflows and engineering efficiency

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in native iOS development
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices
  • Solid understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines
  • Experience working with JSON and web-based APIs
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience mentoring developers and contributing to team development
  • Background working in agile environments
  • Strong architectural thinking and system design skills
  • High ownership of app quality, performance, and reliability
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows

Preferred Skills

  • Experience building fintech or financial wellness applications
  • Strong understanding of scalable mobile architecture
  • Experience working in large, enterprise environments
