• Advocate for user experience, performance, and accessibility
• Help uphold high bar for code quality and engineering culture
• Stay on top of iOS best practices and keep tech stack modern and efficient
• Work on-site at NYC office 5 days per week

• Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI knowledge
• Swift Concurrency and Combine experience
• AVFoundation experience or other hands-on work with video and audio on mobile
• Experience working on complex real-time apps, video/media-heavy workflows, or social applications
• Ownership mentality and track record of driving projects end-to-end
• Obsession with quality of code and interfaces
• Interest in product and taking ownership of broad product areas
• Practiced at using analytics, testing, user feedback, bug, and crash reports to inform app development
• Experience using REST APIs and working with backend teams
• Love for gaming
• Strong written and verbal communication

Bonus Points

• Experience working with video on mobile at consumer-facing company
• History as a Medal user (share a clip or your profile)
• Knowledge of Android development
• Experience with Objective-C, iPadOS, macOS
• CI/CD experience (Xcode Cloud or similar)

iOS Stack

• Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Combine, AVFoundation, Xcode Cloud, Amplitude, Proxyman, Figma, Linear

Benefits

• Meaningful equity
• Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage
• 401(k)
• Wellness and fitness perks (Wellhub membership, mental health resources)
• Paid parental leave, fertility and maternal health benefits
• Generous PTO
• Daily meals and commuter benefits at NYC HQ (Flatiron)
• Learning and development stipend
• On-site work (5 days/week)
• Fast-paced environment — ideas can go from pitch to users in 2-3 weeks

Why Join Us

• Autonomy to make impact from Day 1
• Mobile team operates with independence and fast approval cycles
• Team values humility, curiosity, and momentum
• Help shape future of how gamers share and connect around moments that matter most
