Join Procore's Mobile Innovation team to drive the next generation of field application platform initiatives in a global SaaS infrastructure. You'll work on cutting-edge greenfield projects at the intersection of mobile and AI, establishing strategic technical direction, creating reference patterns, and driving effective execution across multiple product areas.
• Hands-on development and coding of architecture and systems that meet the test of time for a variety of wireless devices
• Design scalable and robust architectural solutions for native iOS applications aligning with industry best practices
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, guiding implementation of mobile solutions
• Evaluate emerging mobile technologies, tools, and frameworks; develop POCs and rapid prototypes
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks across devices and platforms
• Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard user data, privacy, and application integrity
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders
• Partner with VPs, Directors, and stakeholders to align technology solutions to business goals
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, design specifications, and system diagrams
• Establish and maintain overall technology strategy supporting multi-year corporate and product strategies
• Leverage generative tools and agentic workflows (Claude, Cursor, etc.) to move faster
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience
• 15+ years experience in software engineering, Test Driven Development, and Design principles for web and hybrid enterprise mobile applications
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and architecting native iOS applications
• Deep technical expertise with Swift and mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER)
• In-depth knowledge of microservices design patterns (service decomposition, event-driven architecture, API gateway implementation)
• Time-honed expertise with modern SaaS across entire lifecycle (development, testing, staging, deploying, monitoring)
• Experience with voice synthesis, audio streaming, and building "lean" mobile experiences handling complex backend orchestration
• Domain experience with AI Note-taking apps (e.g., Granola), speech-to-text/LLM interfaces (e.g., Whisper Flow, Voibe), or real-time communication (VoIP, Zoom, meeting productivity apps)
• Strong knowledge of mobile app security best practices (data encryption, secure coding, identity management)
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change, promoting innovation and continuous improvement
