Join Regions Bank as a Software Engineer Manager overseeing application development for mobile platforms. You'll lead native iOS and Android development, ensuring effective regulatory and audit compliance while partnering across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data teams to strengthen risk management and cybersecurity.
• Manages all aspects of system design, development, deployment, acquisition, and ongoing maintenance for application systems
• Develops technology solutions that increase internal business efficiency and resolve business problems
• Creates and refines operational processes to ensure regulatory and audit compliance
• Applies interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify system solutions
• Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements
• Supports planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements through management processes
• Partners across TODD to ensure controls are designed and implemented to mitigate risk
• Ensures disciplined change management by evaluating risk and control impacts
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience as a team leader
• Strong understanding of native iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI
• Strong understanding of native Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Experience guiding teams through mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization)
• Experience in banking or financial services industry
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness, etc.)
• Familiarity with App Store / Play Store release processes
• Familiarity with feature flagging and staged rollouts
• Experience with mobile security concepts (secure storage, encryption, authentication, API integration)
• Ability to review code, guide design decisions, and coach engineers
• Prior experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated environments
• Exposure to accessibility standards for mobile apps
• Ability to manage multiple projects
