Team

Handy Finance is an Australian fintech lender, recognized in the Deloitte Fast Tech 50 for four consecutive years, expanding into the United States. You'll design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications, working with architects, backend developers, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance native iOS applications using Swift
• Design and implement customer-facing mobile features, including Wallet functionality
• Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable application components
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and REST APIs
• Develop secure authentication features: multi-factor authentication and biometric login
• Implement mobile application resilience features: caching, offline functionality, error handling
• Ensure secure storage and management of customer information
• Develop and maintain automated testing, including unit and UI testing
• Support CI/CD deployment processes, application releases, and maintenance
• Collaborate with architects, developers, designers, and business stakeholders
• Implement and maintain push notifications, analytics, monitoring, and performance tracking
• Contribute to continuous improvement of mobile development practices, performance, and security

Requirements

• Strong experience developing native iOS applications using Swift
• Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI frameworks
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture and modern mobile development practices
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services
• Experience using Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile application deployment processes
• Experience implementing push notifications and customer engagement features
• Strong understanding of mobile security principles, authentication frameworks, biometric authentication, and secure data storage
• Experience using analytics, monitoring, and crash reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work effectively in collaborative, agile environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline (desirable)
• Experience within fintech, banking, or other regulated industries highly regarded
