Join Impiricus, the #1 fastest growing company in North America on Deloitte's Fast 500 list (2025), an AI-powered HCP Engagement Engine transforming how life sciences companies support physicians. Founded by a practicing physician and a senior pharmaceutical executive, Impiricus gives you genuine, lasting influence over how we build — you'll help define what we build, how we build it, and what "great" looks like for the mobile team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for iOS, driving architectural decisions, setting engineering standards, and establishing best practices across the mobile codebase
• Lead modernization of the iOS platform — migrating from MVC to MVVM, adopting SwiftUI, introducing dependency injection, and building out automated testing
• Define and evolve mobile engineering processes, tooling, and release workflows to maximize team velocity and product quality
• Partner closely with product and design to influence roadmap decisions from a mobile-first perspective
• Conduct code reviews and actively mentor engineers, raising the team's collective technical level
• Integrate iOS applications with backend APIs, third-party SDKs, and platform services with focus on performance, reliability, and security
• Champion quality — from automated testing to observability — and build systems that catch problems before users do

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift
• Track record of technical ownership — led architecture decisions, driven major initiatives, influenced how a team builds
• Deep expertise in modern iOS development: SwiftUI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture patterns
• Experience introducing or scaling automated testing on an iOS platform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS (Bitrise, Xcode Cloud, Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills — can articulate technical trade-offs clearly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience growing or mentoring a mobile engineering team

Benefits

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
• On-demand healthcare concierge
• HSA, FSA & DCFSA with monthly employer HSA contributions
• 100% paid short- and long-term disability, plus life and AD&D insurance
• Flexible Time Off (unlimited vacation)
• Paid parental leave (available after 6 months)
• Hybrid work option (NYC office) or fully remote
• Home office setup stipend
• 401(k) with company match
• Opportunity to be the senior-most mobile engineer at a fast-growing healthcare technology company
• Work impacting how doctors access information and deliver patient care
