• 3–6 years of experience building and shipping native iOS applications
• Fluent in Swift and SwiftUI, with a strong grasp of UIKit and the broader Apple ecosystem
• Design and build intuitive interfaces for pairing, controlling, and managing hardware devices over Bluetooth/BLE and Wi-Fi
• Well-versed in iOS app lifecycle, allowed background activity, and ensuring uninterrupted peripheral device connectivity with the app in the background
• Partner closely with firmware and cloud teams to build seamless, low-latency communication between the app, device, and backend
• Own onboarding, account, and OTA update flows that feel effortless to the end user
• Optimize for performance and reliability across a wide range of iOS devices and OS versions
• Obsess over craft and polish, treating animation, interaction, and detail as core to the product experience
• Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined
