Join Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform used by millions monthly, helping consumers earn cash back on purchases. As part of the mobile engineering team, you'll build new features, fix bugs, and expand unit testing frameworks for one of the top shopping apps on the App Store.

Responsibilities

• Work in a mobile-focused team to design and implement features
• Help define new mobile experiences
• Collaborate with the iOS team on implementing modern mobile technologies
• Author tests for Ibotta's iOS application to ensure quality standards
• Fix bugs and improve performance
• Work closely with engineers across multiple disciplines
• Use AI tools to ideate, empower, and accelerate contributions and learning

Requirements

• 2+ years of native iOS software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Passion for building world-class mobile applications
• Experience with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Experience with mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience integrating and adapting to AI tools as part of software development process
• Proficient in Git
• Experience in object-oriented programming design and development
• Well-versed in MVVM, MVP, or other modern architecture patterns
• Unit test experience
• Familiarity with build tooling and dependency management
• Agile development experience
• Experience working alongside Product, Design, Analytics, or other internal stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Regularly ship updates to an app on the App Store
• Shipped an app or features from 0 → 1
• Long-term ownership of an app or features from 1 → N
• Familiarity with first-party APIs (Camera, MapKit)
• Experience integrating and maintaining 3rd-party SDKs
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Embrace, Datadog)
• Familiarity with CI tools (Bitrise)
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
• A/B testing experience
