Supported by tier-1 investors who funded the first generation of AI giants, you'll own the iOS surface for our agent: the app, keyboard, share-sheet integrations, on-device runtime, and more.

Responsibilities

• Own the iOS app and SDK end-to-end — architecture, performance, and polish — alongside the CTO
• Build on-device agent runtime on Apple silicon with Apple framework integrations (Core ML, MLX, App Intents, Live Activities, Shortcuts)
• Handle App Store review, entitlements, background execution, battery and thermal profiles
• Assist research by helping land models that run fast and small enough on Apple silicon
• Assist product by prototyping interaction patterns no one has shipped on iOS before
• Guide Android engineers on what deserves to be deeply native vs. cross-platform

Requirements

• Strong opinions about ProMotion and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
• Can tell within thirty seconds whether an app was built by people who care
• Experience shipping iOS that survives Apple review and feels first-party
• Ability to read an iOS performance trace and find the actual bug
• Willingness to learn running LLMs on Apple Neural Engine at consumer scale
• Willingness to learn what an agent looks like with full system context vs. inside Apple sandbox
• Willingness to learn reliable agentic systems from people who published canonical papers on it

Timeline of Success

• After 30 days: Ship a meaningful improvement to the iOS app (performance, polish, or new capability). Name three things below bar and start fixing one.
• After 60 days: Own the iOS roadmap with the CTO. Ship a capability using iOS-specific surface (App Intents, Live Activity, Shortcuts, Apple Intelligence) that makes the agent feel native.
• After 90 days: iOS experience is demo-ready for an Apple engineer. Shape a launch and have a strong, opinionated 12-month plan for the AGI iOS app.
