Join PacePal, an app that helps runners discover races worldwide, follow friends' sign-ups, and find their next challenge. Using AI, PacePal builds personalized race-day pacing strategies based on course elevation and conditions. You'll build and ship real features in the SwiftUI iOS app — code will be in TestFlight users' hands within weeks of joining.
• Build and ship real features in the SwiftUI iOS app
• Own the full dev cycle: design, implement, debug on device, write tests, and push builds through TestFlight to the App Store
• Integrate with Firebase backend (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions)
• Help shape data models, user flows, and architecture as the app scales
• Passionate about running
• Knowledge of iOS development and frameworks (Swift and Objective-C)
• Have shipped at least one iOS app to TestFlight or the App Store
• Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI; comfortable in Xcode and reading stack traces
• Bonus: Firebase, Combine, or Core Location experience
• Familiar with Git and modern mobile dev workflows
• Fluent using AI coding tools to ship faster
• Comfortable working independently in fast-moving startup environment, owning features end-to-end
