• Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Flutter
• Integrate mobile apps with existing COBOL-based and Java-based backend systems
• Collaborate with backend teams to build RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints
• Design API gateways to expose COBOL and Java services to modern mobile platforms
• Write reusable, clean, and modular code for React Native and Flutter
• Work with native modules when necessary for platform-specific features
• Work with UI/UX teams to implement intuitive and responsive designs
• Use performance profiling tools (Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler) to identify and fix bottlenecks
• Implement best practices for memory management and app performance optimization
• Develop unit tests and integration tests; implement automated testing with Jest, XCTest, or Flutter Test
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitrise
• Implement secure communication protocols (HTTPS), OAuth authentication, and data encryption
• Ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
• Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
• Must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week
• Master's and 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor's and 12+ years, or 18+ years in lieu of degree
• Experience with at least 2 of: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native, Vue 3
• Experience with legacy system integration and API development
• Experience with version control, cloud services, CI/CD, and testing/debugging tools
• Experience with cross-platform development
• Experience with UI/UX design integration
• Swift/SwiftUI, Xcode, CocoaPods, iOS frameworks (UIKit, CoreData)
• App Store deployment and App Store Connect maintenance
• Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, Gradle, Firebase
• Flutter and Dart with state management (Provider, Riverpod)
• Redux, React Navigation
• Vuex, Vue Router
