ADT develops iOS applications for its ADT+ smart home security platform. The iOS engineering team builds and maintains features for the ADT+ app, allowing customers to check security cameras, arm and disarm their system, set up automations, and more from a single platform. The team works with modern iOS technologies including Swift and/or Objective-C, REST APIs, Websockets, GraphQL, and Core Data (ideally synced with CloudKit). Engineers design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant system components. They also mentor junior team members, perform code reviews, and help define engineering standards and guidelines.
ADT hires for multiple iOS roles:
Key qualifications include experience with Swift, iOS SDK, REST/GraphQL, mobile architectures, automated testing, Git, Agile methodologies, and App Store releases. Preferred qualifications include experience with CoreData (synced with CloudKit), Apple Watch or Apple TV apps, and addressing OWASP/security issues.
ADT helps protect and connect families and businesses every day. iOS engineers build the app that gives customers control over their security, cameras, and automation from anywhere. If you're passionate about smart home technology, safety, and building products that make a real impact, ADT offers a mission-driven environment with 150 years of trusted experience.
